What does a typical training week look like:
Monday – Wednesday: training
Thursday: active rest
Friday: training
Saturday: our comp team training with Darren at CFNZ Sunday: rest day
Your best nutrition tip or advice:
Everybody is so different, so what works for one person might not work for someone else, so eating what’s right for you.
Worst injury:
Tearing my UCL and CFO ligaments in my right elbow doing a heavy 1RM overhead squat just over a year ago. Made me a better athlete though.
What you’d be doing if you weren’t an athlete:
I would still be exercising for a healthy lifestyle and spending more time with the hubby and possibly having kids.
An interesting fact about yourself:
I was a national sprinter and rep hockey player growing up, played indoor bowls, girls’ rugby for my school and did ballet when I was a youngster.
